Do you know which is the first 'GREEN' college in India? It's Vivekananda Institute of Technology, popularly known as VIVTECH. The campus is set up in a sprawling 40 acres of land surrounded by greenery and beautiful landscaping. VIVTECH is conscious of the global warming and pollution issues. That's why special emphasis has been given on reducing the pollution level at VIVTECH. The central area of the building has been kept vehicle free. Different departments of the college are connected through skywalk.
VIVTECH has a proposed plan to come up with a beautiful garden, lawn, water fountain, sit out space etc. very shortly. The idea of creating such ambience is to get the feel of close proximity to nature.

ReplyDeleteTo me, the term "green" has always been synonomous with hope. So let's keep the message positive. Use efforts, be serious when we have to and start marketing the brands that truly are committed to protecting our planet the same way other useful and educational brands.

I heard that a recent marketing study showed if the word "green" is in a web-link users are less likely to click on it over a non-green link. I'm still trying to confirm the report, but whether or not the number is exactly right there is no doubt that marketers have overexposed users to the term resulting in an epidemic of "green fatigue."
